In detail
ASP Original Classic 200DESCRIPTION
The ASP is an innovative device designed to implant a small needle into the auricle. It consists of a single-use applicator that ensures the needle can be inserted with great ease and excellent precision, while guaranteeing complete sterility.
The ASP is available in three versions:
- ASP Classic
: A NICKEL-FREE
STAINLESS STEEL needle
. This sterile, single-use needle has proven its effectiveness in AURICULOTHERAPY treatments for over 30 years.
- The ASP Gold
: A steel needle
coated with a layer of pure GOLD (99.7%).
The ASP Gold is particularly suitable for use in patients with allergies.
- ASP Titanium
: A needle
made of solid medical-grade 4 TITANIUM. This
ASP, which offers the highest level of biocompatibility, is preferred for treating conditions requiring long-term implantation and is strongly recommended for at-risk patients: diabetics, immunocompromised individuals, or those with multiple allergies.
Stimulation
Magnet
The ASP Classic and Gold injectors
feature a bipolar magnet at the tip, specially designed to periodically reactivate the effect of the implanted needle. The injector equipped with the magnet can be given to the patient for this purpose.
Retention
Pads The
adhesive pads supplied with the ASPs are made with a microporous backing and a hypoallergenic adhesive. They are used as needed to hold the needle in place (border points).
USAGE
1
- Disinfect the patient’s
ear. 2 - Check that the blister pack is intact and remove the injector from its packaging.
3 - Position the tip of the injector over the treatment site and press down perpendicular to the skin’s surface. The characteristic “click” indicates that the ASP is properly positioned.
4 - If necessary, protect the needle with an adhesive patch.
5 - Once the needle is in place, it can be activated by the injector’s magnet (ASP Classic and Gold models only). Place the black patch opposite the needle tip and rotate the injector around its axis in both directions. Rotate once per second for about 30 seconds.
6 - The needle usually falls out on its own after a few days, but it can be removed using small tweezers after 2 weeks.
