Premio 10 - Moxa

The Premio 10 moxa infrared emitter is designed to produce an emission spectrum identical to that of traditional moxa rolls.
It emits short-, medium-, and long-wave infrared radiation, up to 15 µm. The emitted heat can thus stimulate the body’s various receptors across the entire infrared spectrum, maintaining the proper balance among these receptors. This ensures deep penetration and optimal results.

Ready to use in less than 8 seconds with the simple press of a button, the Premio 10 Moxa is used just like a traditional moxa roll. Traditional application techniques can be used: rotational movements, tapping, etc.

Furthermore, equipped with its CONCENTRATOR, it allows practitioners to perform the technique known as “THERMAL NEEDLE” in acupuncture.
When placed on the acupoint with the concentrator’s insulating ring in contact with the skin, the Premio 10 Moxa deeply stimulates the point. It is removed as soon as an intense heat is felt. This lasts five to 10 seconds, depending on the patient.

This new mode of operation with the concentrator also allows for the stimulation of auriculotherapy points. Several clinical trials are currently underway.

The Premio 10 Moxa emits, of course, NO ODOR or TOXIC SMOKE and can be used in all circumstances in a DOCTOR’S OFFICE or HOSPITAL setting.

PRECAUTIONS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS

Medical: the same as with traditional moxibustion.

Technical: The skin temperature remains below 45°C at a distance of 20 mm from the tip of the Premio 10 moxa, without the concentrator, and at 5 mm if the concentrator is in place.
