Agistim Duo

Electrical stimulation enhances the effects of acupuncture needles. In some cases, it can serve as an alternative to lengthy manual techniques and even replace needles for children and those who are afraid of needles.

DESCRIPTION

The AGISTIM duo is a 4-channel in-office electrical stimulator offering a wide range of adjustment options for pulse frequency, transmission mode, and intensity.

- Pulse frequency: Freely adjustable from 1 to 99 Hz or selection from preset Nogier frequencies.
- Transmission mode: Choice of 8 different modes: rest time, frequency sweep, alternating transmission between channels.
- Intensity: Intensity is continuously adjustable, independently on each channel.

The term “DUO” means that the AGISTIM duo is equivalent to two stimulators in a single device. The four outputs operate in pairs, offering various configuration options.

A timer automatically stops the treatment.

The AGISTIM duo can be connected to the mains via a remote, double-insulated power supply unit.
INDICATIONS

- In electroacupuncture: faster treatment than using needles alone and/or treatment with electrodes.

- In neurostimulation: stimulation of nerve fibers using electrodes.

- For analgesia: release of endorphins based on the selected frequencies.

- In electrolipolysis: effective reduction of localized lipodystrophy using appropriate needles.

PRECAUTIONS, CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Conditions not suitable for treatment with acupuncture.
• Always disinfect the skin before inserting needles. Use only sterile, single-use needles. Place electrodes on healthy skin.
• Take precautions when treating pregnant women and patients with hemophilia or those on anticoagulants.
• Do not use on patients with an implanted electronic device (pacemaker).

USE

1 - Connect the needle or electrode connectors to the AGISTIM duo’s
output ports 2 - Connect the needles or electrodes
3 - Turn on the stimulator’s timer and set the treatment time (1 to 60 minutes)
4 - Select the stimulation mode from the 8 available
options 5 - Set the frequency per channel pair: from 1 Hz to 99 Hz or the 7 Nogier
frequencies 6 - Treatment begins as soon as the intensity is adjusted on each channel.

The AGISTIM duo offers optimal safety. The treatment parameters are constantly visible on the display screen. A built-in autonomous safety system shuts off the device if the frequency or intensity of the currents exceeds the maximum values.
