Palpeur MultiniveauxPALPATION & AURICULOTHERAPY
In auriculotherapy, palpation is used to identify pressure-sensitive points on the outer ear.
This probe highlights (through a pulse or pain) the various tissue reactions under the influence of increasing pressure, which is maintained at a constant level throughout the measurement.
Colored markers help you precisely assess the pressure level—that is, the intensity or depth at which you detect a reaction.
The auricular examination is performed in two stages: palpation of both ears to locate a painful area, followed by identification of tender points using a probe.
This mechanical detection using the probe is based on the principle of pain response; between 130 g and 250 g, the pathognomonic sign of a grimace is clearly observed.
Usage
:
Holding the probe perpendicular to the skin, the practitioner slowly searches for the point by applying successive pressures, allowing the patient to indicate their reaction with each application.
PROBES & AURICULOMEDICINE
: The use of the probe in auriculomedicine differs.
The goal is not to detect pressure-sensitive points, but to stimulate the auricle with the probe to analyze the reactions of the V.A.S.
Probes thus allow for the study of reactions at three tissue levels:
deep: 250–400 g
medium: 130–250 g
superficial: 60–130 g
Ergonomic handle:
Length: 135 mm
